In the Penny Arcade Expo 2010, Gearbox shows a demo game Duke Nukem Forever. In the demo that can be played it, typical of the Duke really came back.

As quoted from Joystick, Tuesday (09/07/2010), the first level demo is titled ‘The Duke Lives’. The first scenes show the urinal, aka the male pee – standing – in a Public toilet.

Players simply press the right trigger button on the controller, and the hero will pee. After that, he can have a look around the room.

Like Duke 3D, this game features plenty of unique interactivity. In addition to pee before, players can look in the mirror and also write something on the blackboard.

Chalkboard was in a room outside the bathroom. Several soldiers were seen gathering around it, planning attacks on the figure of the giant alien.

First Boss

At the first level that Duke must find a way to get to the football stadium to fight one-eyed monster. In addition, he also named Devastator need weapons to destroy the enemy.

Immediately after meeting with the first boss, Duke could start shooting. The screen will fully by rain and occasional splashes of water will have a plane that dropped the ammunition.

To finish off the monster, Duke should be approached and pulled out some tubes at the head of the monster (press A on controller). After that, the big alien eyes would roll into the field.

Here the player can choose to pass it or kick it into the goalpost’s eyes. Press A, and Duke will do it.

Level 1 closes with a scene that displays the Duke with two women who were resting their heads in the lap of Duke.

“Is it tasty, Duke?” asked one woman.
“And, what about his game?” asked the other one.
“Well, but after 12 years it should be so is not it?” replied the Duke.

Jokes and Action Overstated

The element of humor is never out of the Duke Nukem computer games series. In the midst of the many games First Person Shooter ’serious’, Duke’s presence could be something fresh.

Duke Action also guaranteed to be filled with explosions and raids are exaggerated. Still, Duke Nukem since the beginning it was made to poke fun action movie full of muscles that crowded in the 1990s.

In the next level in the demo, which numbered 15, Duke Nukem will be displayed at the top of a vehicle. After the gasoline runs out, the Duke will return to fight monsters walking the pig on the highway.

Duke of weapons to be used is quite unique. Besides the pistol and shotgun, is also a shrink gun that could discourage the opponent. If your opponent is small, the Duke was able to step on as cockroaches.

Gearbox is believed to be a proper party to revive the game that has not completed 12 years-complete. Game artificial Borderlands Gearbox showed that these developers have enough sense of humor.

In terms of graphics, Duke Nukem Forever wills reportedly not super-sophisticated graphics display ala Crysis 2 and the like. However beautiful the view was never finished this series appeal.

If Duke Nukem Forever comes true in 2011, be prepared for a gaming experience that strange, stubborn and full of excessive action. That was Duke Nukem!
